Goldwater Mining Limited (GML) was represented at the recently conclude Mining Indaba 2024 held in Capetown, South Africa.
The Managing Director of GML, Mr. David Apaflo graced the 30th edition of the Investing in Mining Indaba held from the 5th to 8th February, 2024 in Capetown, South Africa along with other members of the Nigerian contingent.

Of particular interest was the cocktail reception hosted by the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) with various agreements signed with Gécamines, Thor Exploration and FC Gold.
With AFC pleding its continuos support for the mining sector in Nigeria especially with its recent collaboration with the Solid Minerals Development Fund (SMDF), GML hopes to be sitting on a similar stage in 2025 to sign EOIs with the AFC for the development of its mining assets.

There was decent interest in the portfolio of Goldwater Mining Limited with the likes of Raw Bank of DR Congo, International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Africa Finance Corporation showing interest.
Preliminary conversations around acquiring mining assets in Botswana and Angola commenced with high hopes of expanding the company footprint in the near future.
